Rabbits and T-shirts
I have had the intention of making some cool looking T-shirts for quite a while now. I tried Cafepress and overall wasn't hugely impressed. They do have a great website and they ship in nifty recycled Earth-friendly packaging. Sadly, the T-shirt I created and ordered wasn't one I found myself wanting to wear on a daily basis.
I have a couple more prospects, specifically Zazzle.com and Spreadshirt.com. If anyone has had any experiences with either, let me know!
Cool looking T-shirts need cool looking graphics, and if it wasn't already apparent from Jackrabbitscrewball.com's current logo, I'm not an artist. Thanks to Twitter and a fortuitous glance at a tweet from Newegg, I am the extremely happy owner of a Wacom Bamboo tablet. I could lavish praise on Wacom, because this is a beautiful pen-tablet system, and I could lavish praise on Ubuntu Linux, because it was plug in, start drawing - instantaneously. But I would rather just give you a glimpse of one of our new logos and let it speak for itself. I'm a rotten artist, but I drew this freehand using GIMP 2.6 on the Bamboo. I'm very happy with the results.
I suspect that there will finally be a cool looking Jackrabbitscrewball.com T-shirt soon!
